We all know that in the world of cosmetology, everything is based on looks. As a cosmetologist, it is your job to make your clients look the best they possibly can. If you do it well enough, they will tell their friends and your business will grow. I had the talent and everyone knew it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get as many clients as I should have because of the way I looked. As a kid, I was an outgoing person, but, as I gained more weight, I lost confidence in myself.

As a 19 year old, I had already tried all of the diets and none of them worked, so I started looking for something that would be more permanent. When my grandmother heard about Slimband, she told me to contact them, thinking they might have the answer to my weight problem. Thank you grandma! The surgery went smoothly and I was amazed at how good I felt. Even though I live in a different country, I’ve been very happy with the aftercare and follow up.

Over the last 3 years I’ve lost 60 pounds and the weight continues to fall off, even though I'm still eating all the foods I love. I just make sure I follow the guidelines set out by Slimband and stay in touch with the Slimband support team. With the weight gone I look and feel so much better about myself and everyone is noticing. My newfound confidence and new look has also helped me in day-to-day dealings with my clients. In fact I’ve noticed clients have been referring more people to me, and my business just keeps on growing.
